DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy

Effective Date: November 1, 2025

1. Overview

FAV Unite LLC (doing business as FAVunite TV) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its Contributors, Filmmakers, and Users to do the same. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") Policy explains how copyright owners may notify us of alleged infringements, and how we respond under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512).

2. Content Covered by This Policy

This Policy applies to all Contributor-submitted and licensed content distributed through the FAVunite TV platform under the Content Contributor Agreement (CCA) or any similar content license. While Contributors retain ownership of their works, FAVunite TV serves as a hosting and distribution platform for such content and therefore qualifies for DMCA “safe harbor” protection provided that we comply with the notice-and-takedown procedures described below.

3. Designated DMCA Agent

Pursuant to the DMCA, FAV Unite LLC has designated the following agent to receive notifications of claimed infringement:

Notices of alleged infringement must be sent to the above address or email. Please note that misrepresentations of copyright ownership may expose you to liability under federal law (17 U.S.C. §512(f)).

4. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a proper DMCA Notice, your written communication must include the following:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the infringing material, including its location on the FAVunite TV platform.
• Contact information sufficient to allow us to reach you (email, address, phone).
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

5. Takedown Procedure

Upon receiving a valid DMCA Notice, FAVunite TV will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the Contributor responsible for the content. We may also, at our discretion, terminate the Contributor’s account or revoke distribution privileges in accordance with the Content Contributor Agreement (CCA).

6. Counter-Notice Procedure

If a Contributor believes their content was removed in error, they may submit a Counter-Notice to our DMCA Agent that includes:

• Your name, address, phone number, and electronic signature.
• Identification of the removed content and its prior location.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification.
• A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for your address (or for Johnson County, Kansas, if outside the U.S.).

Upon receiving a valid Counter-Notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore access to the content within ten (10) business days unless the complainant notifies us that legal action has been filed.

7. Repeat Infringers

FAVunite TV may, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, terminate accounts or licenses of Contributors who are repeat infringers or who repeatedly violate our copyright or community standards policies.

8. Relationship to the Content Contributor Agreement (CCA)

This DMCA Policy supplements, and does not replace, the terms of the Content Contributor Agreement (CCA). All Contributors are contractually required under Section 7 (DMCA) and Section 8 (Termination) of the CCA to comply with copyright law, respond promptly to takedown notices, and indemnify FAV Unite LLC against claims arising from infringing content.
